VISIT US

Come on in and smell the leather.

Kent Saddlery includes a gallery style retail area, reminiscent of an old-time saddlery store, with Kent Saddles and leather gear for sale, along with a selection of quality brand products and beautiful gift ideas.

Drop by and see our working windmill and Outback mural. There are farm animals for the kids to feed, plenty of parking space for horse floats and goosenecks, and a round yard facility is available for travellers to spell their horses for an hour or two.

Where are we?

Kent Saddlery is located on the New England Highway just north of Stanthorpe in south-east Queensland, three hours south of Brisbane. An invitation is extended to existing and new customers to drop in to say hello and browse, or stock up on Kent Saddlery and other items. Keep an eye out for the Kent Saddlery signs and our 50' tall (30' wheel) Comet windmill! We’d love you to call in to say g’day.

An experience for the whole family

Come on in and feed the animals and pat the chickens.  Leather stamping for kids is available for FREE.
Each child can personally stamp their leather and can take home two leather shapes each.

The Kent Saddlery Comet

Lyle’s dream of bringing a symbol of the Outback and our Aussie pioneering heritage to Kent Saddlery has come true. At the windmill site and at ground level, visitors will find an identical replica of the windmill’s wheel head which will give them an understanding and concept of the mechanism working high above their heads. Nearby, the tank holds the water which is pumped by the mill and then recycled.
