The Fulmer cheekpiece, like the traditional Eggbutt cheekpiece prevents pinching on the sides of the mouth. However the extended pins above and below the bit, prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and effectively guide the horse’s head which is great for schooling and training purposes. A very popular station bit.
