Stockmans Belt, 1½” Brown Leather with Brass Horseshoe Buckle

Kent Saddlery belt sizing is based on the fastening of the belt through its middle hole. This allows for adjustment in either direction as needed. To determine your Kent Saddlery belt size:

METHOD 1. USE AN EXISTING BELT THAT YOU'VE WORN RECENTLY AND WHICH FITS WELL
Lay your belt flat and use a tape measure to measure from the tip of the buckle tongue (the part of the buckle that goes through the holes in the belt) all the way to the hole you use most often. Match this measurement to the closest measurement in the first column of the table below and use the corresponding number from the second column as the Belt Size when placing your order.

METHOD 2. USE YOUR WAIST MEASUREMENT AS YOUR GUIDE
While wearing the jeans / pants you’re most likely to wear with your belt, thread the measuring tape through the belt loops of the jeans / pants, and take your measurement, ensuring that the tape is taut. Match this measurement to the closest measurement in the first column of the table below and use the corresponding number from the second column as the Belt Size when placing your order.

METHOD 3. AS A LAST RESORT – WHEN MEASURING ISN’T AN OPTION
If it is not possible to obtain a measurement to work out a belt size, eg if you’re selecting a belt for someone else as a gift and have access to only their jeans’ / pants’ size you can use the jeans’ / pants size as the Belt Size (second column in table below) when placing your order. It is generally close enough in most cases.

Please Note: WE RECOMMEND USING EITHER METHOD 1 OR 2 ABOVE TO WORK OUT YOUR KENT SADDLERY BELT SIZE. We advise against relying on jeans’ / pants’ size alone whenever possible as they can vary significantly. It is worth taking the extra trouble of measuring to save time and money later.
