Kayla Kurnof and Ann Pedersen, training the young stock workers at Bunda Station, NT
At Bunda (AND Birrindudu, Riveren and Mt Sanford stations!) Lyle and Helen met with two ‘old friends’, Kayla Kurnof and Ann Pedersen. These two capable young women have both been in leadership roles as head stock men (women) and are now involved in training and assessing young stock workers for accreditation through Charles Darwin University. Lyle and Helen saw first-hand their dedication: a willingness to put in long hours of driving, their patience and understanding as they give time (and extra time) to the trainees. They both have a desire to impart their personal knowledge and experience to members of the station stock camps and Lyle and Helen think they’re doing a great job!! Yay, Ann and Kayla!
