Keen night shoppers at Legune Station near Kununurra, WA on Sunday, 5th of June. At 10 weeks on the road now for Lyle and Helen, they have just covered half of the stations they will visit this year; still a lot to go!
Like bees round a honey pot, workers at Moolooloo Station, Top Springs, NT were keen to spend some time looking at the Kent Saddlery Station Photos albums.
Peter Lane, who has “….done a bit of ringin…” was again working at Montejinni Station, Top Springs, NT, when Lyle and Helen visited at the end of May. He liked the story Helen wrote and we’re certain that readers will too.
The Top Springs Pub and camping Grounds NT, where the Buchanan and Buntine Highways cross paths, is a great meeting place for both travellers and people who live in the area. Lyle and Helen were happy to cross paths there with Sheilagh Savage “Boss Drover’s Daughter”.

It’s been seven years since the events surrounding ‘The Case of the Missing Pocket Knives’. Wow, how Jess and Becky Miller have grown since then! Helen loved getting together with Jess and Becky when she and Lyle visited.
Well satisfied after a delicious chicken dinner, followed by Pavlova, Helen & Lyle had time for a catch-up and photo with Dave Love, Aroona Station’s cook.

It was a mixture of ‘Glad and Sad’ to find their dear friend Ethleen Barnett’s story. Ethleen passed away in 2015 and some of her life story is found in “..in the best of times”
