The Adults Whip Cracking Competition at the Snowflakes in Stanthorpe festival was also a close call with a Crack-Off for first place.
Jason Traplin (pictured left) came out the winner by a whisker with Hannah Morris (pictured right) runner up. Both received prizes donated by Kent Saddlery.
Jason received an Adult Whip Kit and we saw him in at the Saddlery on Monday wanting to get a few tips on how to make his whip.
Hannah received a copy of Helen Kent’s coffee table book “Stories of Australian Country People“.
